John Schultz now serves as President, having joined Scientific Devices in 1983. Prior experience was at Drexelbrook Engineering working 12 years in engineering, product design and development, and manufacturing management. Mechanical Engineer Studies were at Villanova University.
John Schultz, Jr. has a BS in Technical Management. He joined Scientific Devices full time in Sept. 2008, after working for a local school district as the communications and technology integration specialist for 5 years. This involved all forms of technologies including coordination with contractors and all district personnel. He has also worked concurrently doing professional videography. Through these experiences as well as his volunteer endeavors, John has developed excellent communication, project management and relational skills. Prior work experience included sales, installation, and service of commercial security and computerized network control systems.
Ellie Schultz is an experienced office manager, who has kept our office running smoothly since 1997. She maintains the computer database, provides administrative support and an additional inside sales function. She provides consistently pleasant communications to both customers and principals. Prior career involvements were in banking and teaching.
Jack O’Brien joined Scientific Devices as a professional sales engineer in 1999. His background includes over 26 years in sales and sales management with AMP Inc. in Harrisburg, Pa. In addition to his BA, Jack did postgraduate studies in Business and Computer Languages. He also served in U.S. Naval Air and has now retired as Commander - USNR. Jack is a valuable resource to customers and principals alike in his professional approach to business. (Jack is now PT)
Robert Holdsworth is a graduate BS-EE from Lehigh University with additional studies at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers. Bob established a rep firm in the Phila. area and has been active as a manufacturers representative for over 40 years. His vast sales experience, network of customer contacts and relationships, and professional reputation are a tremendous asset to Scientific Devices. (Bob is now PT)
